Your Private
Sanctuary.
Transform your outdated bathroom into a spa-inspired retreat. From master suite expansions to efficient guest bath updates, we bring luxury, waterproofing expertise, and modern design to your home.
The average person spends over 800 days of their life in the bathroom. It is the first place you go in the morning and the last place you visit before bed. It should be a space of calm, comfort, and functionality—not a place where you stress over cracked tiles, leaking faucets, or poor lighting.
A bathroom remodel is also one of the smartest investments you can make. Alongside kitchens, bathrooms offer the highest Return on Investment (ROI) when it comes to resale value.
Kozer Development brings a technical eye to bathroom design. Bathrooms are “wet zones,” meaning they require specialized construction knowledge to prevent mold and water damage. We combine this technical rigor with high-end aesthetic choices to build bathrooms that look beautiful today and perform flawlessly for decades.
Turn your primary bathroom into a destination. We can expand the footprint, remove oversized 1990s tub decks, and install modern freestanding tubs, steam showers, and double vanities.
Key Features: Heated floors, rain showerheads, smart mirrors, and custom storage towers.
These high-traffic spaces need to be durable and easy to clean while still impressing your guests. We focus on maximizing space with smart layouts and resilient materials.
The “jewel box” of the home. Because the space is small, you can afford to use premium materials—like bold wallpaper, unique vessel sinks, or high-end lighting—to make a massive design statement.
We design stylish, safe bathrooms for long-term living. Curbless showers, grab bars that double as towel racks, and comfort-height toilets allow you to stay in your home comfortably as you age.
In a bathroom, what you don’t see is just as important as what you do see.
Many “budget” contractors cut corners on waterproofing. They might tile directly over drywall or skip the proper membrane application. This leads to slow leaks, rotting subfloors, and mold growth behind your beautiful tile.
We use industry-leading waterproofing systems (like Schluter-Kerdi or liquid membranes) for all shower pans and walls.
We calculate the cubic footage of your room to install whisper-quiet exhaust fans that actually remove moisture, preventing mildew on your ceiling.
We replace old, corroded valves and pipes before closing up the walls, ensuring your new fixtures have strong pressure and no leaks.
Eliminate the trip hazard and the visual clutter. A curbless shower runs the floor tile continuously into the shower area, creating a seamless, modern look that makes the room feel larger.
Replace that massive built-in tub deck with a sleek, sculptural freestanding tub. It acts as a focal point and frees up floor space.
Wall-mounted vanities create a sense of openness by showing more floor area. They also allow for customizable heights and under-cabinet accent lighting.
We are seeing a shift away from small grout lines. Large porcelain slabs (24×48) minimize grout lines, making the shower easier to clean and visually more expansive.
Bathrooms are tight spaces. We measure down to the inch to ensure toilet clearances, door swings, and shower sizes meet code and comfort standards.
We carefully demo the existing fixtures. Once the walls are open, we inspect for any past water damage or dry rot and repair it immediately—ensuring we build on a solid foundation.
We run new plumbing lines for double sinks or relocated showers and install electrical for vanity lights and exhaust fans.
This is the most critical step. We install the backer board and waterproofing membranes, followed by a “flood test” to guarantee the shower pan holds water perfectly.
Our master tilers get to work. We ensure patterns flow correctly, niche boxes are centered, and cuts are precise. We recommend epoxy grout for stain resistance.
We install the toilet, vanity, faucets, and the heavy custom glass for your shower enclosure.
Yes, we often steal space from adjacent closets or bedrooms to expand a master bath. We can assess your floor plan to see where we can gain that extra square footage.
A standard bathroom remodel typically takes 3–5 weeks. A master bath with structural changes may take 5–7 weeks. We focus on one trade after another to keep the timeline tight.
This is our most popular request. We remove the old, unused bathtub and replace it with a spacious walk-in shower, often with a bench seat and niche storage.
You can, but we recommend letting us purchase them or verify them first. Plumbing fixtures sold at “Big Box” stores often have plastic internal parts, whereas the ones we source from supply houses have brass internals. We want to ensure you get a product that lasts.
A wet room is a fully waterproofed bathroom where the shower and tub are within the same open, tiled area, often behind a single glass partition. It’s a very popular, spa-like trend for larger master baths.
You deserve a bathroom that helps you relax, not one that adds to your stress. Contact Kozer Development to discuss your vision.
